For OEMs & upfitters
Design for your market, Made in your country. Powered by UPT.
Launch an electric vehicle production line in any target market in a matter of weeks. Skip 8 months of platform R&D and the CapEx of building a chassis from scratch. ENVO licenses the UPT platform, you build the rest.
The OEM problem
Designing a modular EV platform takes 8 months and $30M. Or you can buy ours.
UPT is already engineered: in-wheel motor design (IP67), a modular UL 2271 battery system, a dual-core VCU with CAN, Bluetooth, and UART, flat double-wishbone suspension, and tank-turn drive modes, all protected by granted, global patents. When you build a vehicle, get our platform and build on it. Bring your body design, your assembly capability, and your market, and we provide the platform.
Why partner
Production-ready, IP-protected, market-proven.
Co-production benefits
Built so you can launch Made in Your Country.
Designed for mass customization
UPT can be built into fit-for-purpose vehicles for a wide range of use cases, including those not addressed by the market today. Configure for your niche.
High manufacturability
Common components and an extendable platform enable simple assembly anywhere in the world, with minimal upfront CapEx and quick time-to-market.
Streamlined product development
UPT can be configured into any vehicle at significantly lower cost and shorter lead times than developing a vehicle from scratch.
Patent-protected platform
Granted, global patents on the modular platform, in-wheel motor, and battery architecture. Build on protected technology competitors cannot copy.
Multi-format options
Complete vehicles, rolling platforms, CKD kits, SKD kits, or application-ready modular systems. Pick the supply format that fits your operation.
AI & robotics ready
UPT is built as a smart platform, compatible with autonomous-driving stacks, ground-robot platforms, and AI-driven services, with a built-in upgrade path to autonomy.
How co-production works
From handshake to launch line.

01
1. Engage
Initial NDA + capability briefing. We share the engineering package; you share your market, capacity, and target vehicle profile.
-
02
2. Configure
Use our configurator to set up the UPT you want and customize it yourself. We help throughout, including the compliance and regulatory work for your region.
-
03
3. Source
We provide the engineering package along with SKD and CKD kits, parts, and everything you need to assemble your vehicle. You choose deep manufacturing or light assembly.
-
04
4. Assemble & launch
Assemble and launch in your market. Homologation needs to be completed for your region, and we can help with it. Distribution and after-sales run through your existing network.
What each side brings
A true co-production partnership, not a vendor relationship.
ENVO provides: SKD and CKD kits, the chassis, parts, spare parts, and finished vehicles. We support the partnership on design and engineering, but our core is supplying the platform and components. You configure your vehicle on our website.
You provide: your market fit and vehicle configuration (built on our configurator), production and assembly matched to your local capabilities, distribution and logistics, and an after-sales network with spare parts. You also complete all mandatory homologation and regional regulations. We can help with the regulations, but completing them is your responsibility.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is included when we buy the UPT platform?
Depending on the project, ENVO can supply complete vehicles, rolling platforms, SKD or CKD kits, modular subassemblies, or selected components — along with the technical information qualified partners need, such as dimensional data, interface requirements, mounting points, electrical architecture, control inputs and outputs, and integration guidance.
Do we license the platform, or do we buy it?
The easiest, quickest, and simplest model is for ENVO to sell the platform — complete vehicles, kits, or modular components. Depending on manufacturing strategy, cost management, and market priorities, ENVO may also consider licensing approaches in selected cases.
What formats can we receive, such as complete vehicles, rolling platforms, SKD and CKD kits, or parts?
Depending on the project, ENVO may supply complete vehicles, rolling platforms, SKD kits, CKD kits, modular subassemblies, or selected components for partner assembly, integration, or upfitting.
Who designs and configures the vehicle, us or ENVO?
The final configuration can be defined by the customer, partner, or OEM together with ENVO. ENVO can provide direct configuration support, while final integration, assembly, and upfitting may be handled by ENVO, the partner, or a qualified third-party manufacturer or upfitter.
How does the configurator fit into our product development?
The configurator and ENVO's configuration support help you define a vehicle from existing modular options early in development. From there, your team and ENVO confirm the build, and final integration and upfitting are handled by whichever party is best placed for the project.
Who is responsible for homologation and regional compliance?
Homologation and regional compliance are typically completed for the specific final vehicle configuration and target market. ENVO can support with platform data, engineering input, and coordination, while the final homologation effort may be handled by ENVO, the regional partner, or the responsible vehicle manufacturer depending on the project structure.
What is the typical timeline from agreement to first vehicle?
If the required solution already exists within the current modular ecosystem, the timeline can be a matter of weeks. If the project needs new engineering, custom components, homologation, or partner-side development, it may take significantly longer.
What are the minimum volumes to start a partnership?
The UPT model is built to address ignored and underserved niche markets, so minimum volume is usually not the first topic of a partnership. The main goal is a continuous partnership and a sustainable long-term business around the right market application.
Is regional exclusivity available, and how is IP handled?
Partnership protection and commercial structure depend on the project, market, industry vertical, and long-term business case — often structured around specific accounts, industries, applications, or programs rather than only geography. IP, engineering contribution, supply rights, and commercial boundaries are defined case by case in the partnership agreement.
What engineering, supply-chain, and after-sales support do you provide?
Depending on the project, ENVO can support partners with platform engineering data, configuration support, modular hardware supply, selected software and API support, sourcing coordination, and after-sales support planning. ENVO can also facilitate component and product exchange through localized manufacturing and supply arrangements across different countries.
Can we manufacture or assemble the vehicles locally in our market?
Yes. Local manufacturing, assembly, or upfitting may be possible depending on the partnership structure, technical capability, regulatory requirements, and commercial plan.
