Frequently asked.

Can I order the UPT fully assembled, partly assembled, or as a DIY kit?

The UPT can be supplied in different build states depending on the product, quantity, and application — complete vehicles, rolling platforms, and kit-based formats for self or partner assembly. The final delivery format is confirmed case by case based on your customization scope, destination, and fulfillment planning.

How DIY-friendly is the UPT to assemble myself?

Standard assembly is designed to be manageable with general mechanical skills, basic hand tools, and familiarity with vehicle assembly, electrical connections, and safety checks. A standard vehicle takes roughly 6 to 20 hours of work. More heavily customized or specialized builds can require professional assembly depending on the level of integration and application-specific equipment.

Is a fully assembled UPT cheaper or more expensive than the DIY kit?

Yes — final pricing depends on the delivery format, level of assembly, and scope of customization. Fully assembled units generally cost more than rolling platforms or kit-based supply because of the added assembly, testing, packaging, and fulfillment work, and they can also carry higher shipping costs.

What tools and skills do I need to assemble the UPT?

A standard build needs general mechanical skills, basic hand tools, and familiarity with vehicle assembly, electrical connections, and safety checks, plus some specialty tools such as a jack, air pump, or brake-bleeding tools. More advanced builds may call for professional assembly capability depending on the customization, control integration, and application-specific equipment involved.

How long does assembly take?

Assembly time depends on the product type, build state, and level of customization. For a standard vehicle it ranges from roughly 6 to 20 hours of work. More specialized or heavily customized builds may need additional time for integration, equipment installation, and validation.

How does ordering work, and can I buy online or only through a dealer?

The UPT can be bought by individuals, commercial users, fleets, dealers, and OEM or upfitter partners — the exact configuration path depends on your use case. The UPT is currently in its pre-order phase, so you can place a refundable deposit online to secure early priority in the production and allocation queue. Our team then works with you to confirm the configuration, commercial path, and delivery before a formal sales order is issued; a dealer or our team can help with configuration and delivery.

How does the configurator work, and can I save and share my build before ordering?

Yes. You can customize your vehicle from the options ENVO offers before ordering, and configuration review and coordination are supported as part of the sales process. You can also up-fit the vehicle later with add-ons made in-house, sourced from ENVO, or from other equipment makers. The exact workflow for saving and sharing a build depends on the product and configurator stage.

How long does shipping take, and where do you ship?

We ship worldwide, subject to logistics, geopolitical, and cross-border limitations, with orders shipping from different origins depending on availability. During the pre-launch stage, deliveries are expected to begin on a first-come, first-served basis starting in early Spring 2027. Once a formal order is issued and paid, shipping and delivery alone generally take a few weeks depending on destination. Shipping cost is calculated or quoted case by case and paid by the buyer at actual cost.

What is included with my order?

Every vehicle order includes one standard charger. Beyond that, what arrives depends on your build and delivery format — a complete vehicle, a rolling platform, or a kit — along with the manuals, instructions, and support resources relevant to your product. The UPT charges from normal 110V/220V household plugs, so no special EV charging equipment is required.
